Description

A multi-episode post-documentary film about the war in Ukraine, created using theatre techniques. It takes us back to the first three weeks of Russia’s full-scale invasion, a time when life was divided into “before” and “after”, when the problems of strangers became family, and when a common misfortune united. The film is made in the format of video diaries that Ukrainians have been recording since 24 February 2022 in different cities and countries, under fire, in a bomb shelter, under occupation or in exile. The film collects real-life stories and testimonies of people who are living through the war and explores its impact on people. Ukrainian artists talk about their own experiences, share their thoughts and feelings.
